Chantal Pichon is Professor at the University of Orleans (France) and senior member of the Institut Universitaire de France, laureate of the Innovation chair. She carries out her research activities at the Centre de Biophysique Moléculaire (CNRS-Orléans) where she leads the Innovative therapies and nanomedicine lab. Her research at the interface of chemistry and biology is related to the development of innovative therapies-based on nucleic acids. These last years, she focuses a main part of her activities on messenger RNA delivery and bioproduction. Chantal Pichon has a track-record of 167 original articles and 12 filed patents. She has obtained 26 academic and private grants including 17 as coordinator (ANR, FP7 and Horizon Europe, Centre Val de Loire Region, BPI France, Ligue contre le cancer ….).
