Professor of Internal Medicine, AP-HP Saint-Louis University Hospital (Paris Cité University, France); Adjunct Professor, McGill University (Canada) Prof. Dominique Farge is a leading expert in stem cell and immune cell therapies for autoimmune diseases. For over 30 years, she has combined clinical and translational research with academic leadership in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), mesenchymal stromal cells (MSC), and CAR-T therapies in autoimmune settings such as systemic sclerosis, lupus, multiple sclerosis, and Crohn’s disease. She founded and coordinates the MATHEC network, a French national reference center for autoimmune diseases and stem cell therapy, and served as Chair of the Autoimmune Diseases Working Party of the European Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation (EBMT). She has played a key role in developing several international guidelines for the use of HSCT, MSC and CAR-T in autoimmune diseases. Internationally recognized, she has been a member of the ISCT Board of Directors (2019–2021) and is currently ISCT Europe Regional Vice President (2025–2027), contributing to global education and visibility for clinical trials in cell therapy. She is principal or co-principal investigator of multiple phase I–II trials in autoimmune diseases using MSC-based therapies and has authored or co-authored over 550 peer-reviewed publications (H-index 85). She is also co-editor of the reference textbook "Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapies for Autoimmune Diseases" (2022, Taylor & Francis).
