Marie-José STASIA

Marie José Stasia is an Associate professor (Pharm D, PhD) at the University Grenoble Alpes and an hospital partitionner in charge of the unique national referent laboratory for the Chronic Granulomatous Disease (CGD) diagnostic (phenotype and genotype) at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Grenoble Alpes. She is a senior researcher in the “Membrane and Pathogen » group directed by Pr F. Fieschi at the Institut de Biologie structurale in Grenoble (UMR 5075). She is an international expert in the field of NADPH oxidases (NOX) (70 peer-reviewed publications, H-index: 28, PI of several international grants).  She has been recently elected to be co-chair at the 2022 Gordon Research Conference on NOX Family NADPH Oxidases that will be held in West Dover, Vermont, USA. She will be the next chair of the 2024 edition of this conference that will be held in Europe. Recently she has developed CGD cellular models as human iPSCs derived macrophages and neutrophils to develop new therapies for this disease.
