Mathilde GIRARD

ADHARA

Senior manager, Process Development - GENESIS Project

Mathilde Girard is a stem cell specialist, specialized in bioproduction and automation for cell therapy applications. After a PhD in Human Genetics she specialized in pluripotent stem cells applications at the I-Stem institute in Evry. She notably led a research team that set up the reprogramming technology to produce induced pluripotent stem cells that are used as pathological models by the institute research teams, alongside with a QC panel that allows the thorough monitoring of cells quality. She eventually led the technological platforms of the institute including large scale bioproduction, quality control, high throughput screening and clinical translation. She then specialized in advanced therapies first at Yposkesi by leading the cell therapy development team and now at Urgo by leading the process development team on the GENESIS project, aiming at producing an artificial skin for severe wounds healing.
